Keepsakes are created using the yarn I spin from your pet’s brushed undercoat. Each design is intentionally flexible — some yarns are best suited to open, flowing stitches, while others benefit from tighter, more structured stitching. There is no single formula that works for every fiber, and each piece is approached individually.
Every animal, every yarn, and every keepsake is truly one of a kind — just like your pet. While I do offer wearables, all keepsakes should be considered heirloom pieces, meant to be cherished and worn gently, with care.
Pricing is all-inclusive.
It reflects the full process: yarn creation, design and pattern development, and the crochet or knit work required to complete your keepsake. Each item listing includes the average ounces of brushings needed, accounting for typical processing loss.
Finished sizes are approximate. Because each yarn is unique, final dimensions may vary depending on fiber characteristics and yardage yield. Some keepsakes can be made slightly smaller or larger, depending on the available yarn.
If you do not have enough brushings for your chosen keepsake, a carefully selected supplemental fiber can be added during processing to make your project possible while preserving the look and feel of your pet’s yarn.
