Loving animals has defined me ever since I was a little girl. I believe every animal has a story to tell and wisdom to share, and deserve to be honored in ways that are as unique and beautiful as they are. I am fortunate to have found a tactile way of expressing that belief and for the ability to help others through my work. I'm grateful beyond measure that my effort is being recognized for both the intention and love behind it - Theresa
Yarn made from dog hair (Chiengora) actually predates written history. While it has fallen out of mainstream use, it's beauty and unique character remain. Yarn made from cat hair (Chatgora) is relatively rare as it is difficult to spin but can often still be utilized to produce yarn. Having yarn made from your pet's hair is a way to preserve their beauty and provides a tactile way of honoring them. Save your brushings. Yarn is made utilizing your pet's undercoat, yarn is not made from clippings. Cats, dogs, and rabbits with soft undercoats make dazzling yarn.
